15 March 2009. Ellie makes it to 'England Talent Group One'
Another YWCA Bury under 16 has made it to the next stage following screening this weekend. Eleanor Townsend joined the club at under 12 showing great potential with her left hook! She plays GK/WD and is a valued member and friend of the current YWCA Bury under 16 squad. Ellie joins her team mates Natalie Haythornthwaite GA/WA(England Under 17's) and Jodie Gibson GD/WD (England Talent 2). - Thanks must go to their coach Lianne Dooley who has put the girls through their paces since they were 11 and 12 years old - what a squad.
